Overview
JobGet is a mobile platform that streamlines the application process for blue-collar job seekers and employers built on the idea that getting a job shouldn't take hours of filling out forms and waiting weeks to hear back.
Problem Statement
Many employers contact support, confused about how to create a job post, only to realize they created a job seeker account instead. Since the app's rapid launch in 2019, the user page flows have not been well-considered, causing users to make an unnecessary number of clicks to complete an action.
Solution
The redesign of user flows and the implementation of a new design system across the entire mobile application aims to address users' difficulties in completing simple tasks, such as signing up for the correct account, and to enhance the overall usability of the platform.
One of our goals was for users to sign up for the correct type of account, as an employer or job seeker.
I worked on the Product Team at JobGet as a Product Designer for their Mobile App to help build a new design system and implement the new branding in the redesign of user flow pages.
I collaborated with product managers, designers, engineers, and users to redesign video application and login user flows to reduce help desk tickets by over 75%.

Lessons Learned
Simplifying the application process for job seekers and reducing friction for employers showed how intuitive design can minimize errors and improve usability. This project reinforced my belief that even small design changes can greatly empower users, especially during challenging times like the pandemic.
